It’s not the cheapest escape room in Cardiff but the puzzles were fab. Some of them I’d have not figured out without the hints but Amelia was really helpful and we got out with 6 minutes to spare!

  Great escape room experience, great game host Grey – Great Fun, played the Sherlock 2 Game. Grey was a great game host, very friendly! Reasonably priced and a really fun team exercise.

She helped us understand the rules, the process, things we would need to know for the game and was energetic, encouraging and amazing from start to finish.

The escape room that we did was a series of rooms with incredibly immersive detail in them, each puzzle to be solved was intuitive and well thought out with a huge amount of variety.

I enjoyed every step of the way and despite our first time we managed to conquer our first room! Toni made sure to give us hints only when it was clear we were struggling which I greatly appreciated. Giving us critical pushes for us to be able to work out the puzzles with the information we already had available.

I would recommend this Escape Room to anyone looking to give themselves a fun challenging experience!

I absolutely will be returning in the future.

  Fab First Escape Room Experience – Went as a family of 4 (2 children aged 13 & 10) which was first time for all of us doing an escape room, didn’t know what to expect, did… read more not disappoint.
We did Astro Quest and Toni was our host. We all enjoyed it and all participated and contributed. The kids were inquisitive when we were in the room and noticed things that once we found a clue they realised what it related to. Toni was enthusiastic and gave us hints when needed when we were close but not too much that it gave it away.
If you haven’t done an escape room before this is a great starter with lovely staff. Break up your shopping day by having some fun here. Looking forward to doing another one.

  Amazing, Accommodating and Adaptive! *Very Supportive of those with hearing difficulties* – Our Host Amelia was very accommodating, friendly and enthusiastic. She was able to adapt the rooms to our needs (as we where a large group with most having various hearing… read more difficulties, a few profound deaf) on the spot.

This made for a very unique experience of the escape room, that was both entertaining and fun, that had a good balance of figuring things out ourselves and guiding us along when we struggled.

This sort of critical thinking is commendable and should be a practice that is seen more often for those with disabilities and as such I would like to thank Escape Rooms @ Cardiff for such an amazing and supportive evening.

– Tomb: nice and simple room to get you started
– Sherlock: chess board and bank notes
– Heist: the 2 team split twist
– Z: the logic puzzle with the green and red lights.
– Press start: crawling into the room
– Oculus: finding the codes in the second room

Would love it if this place does a 6 month rotation of game rooms so there’ll be more challenges in the future. Clues do genuinely arrive at the right time and whenever we get stuck if you ask them. They’ll give you (if it’s at the right time of course).
